The New Times Summer of Sound Series is in full force and is hitting music venues all over the valley. Summer of Sound is a unique new movement that features 7 different genres, 7 different nights, at 7 different venues.
New Times knows you need a dose of some good Pop music that does not involve Hollywood train wrecks and paparazzi. Check out the Pop show on Saturday, June 21st featuring LIMBECK. Local performers JODY GNANT, WHAT LAURA SAYS THINKS AND FEEL, THE VIA MARIS, DAKOTA AND THE BLACK RIVER BANDITS will be playing their "chart topping" hits in order to be named best in the genre.
Doors for all shows open at 7 p.m., with performances starting at 7:45. Admission for all shows in the series costs ONLY $5. The local winner in each category will be determined by audience votes -- so get out there, get your groove on, and cast your ballot.
