This unpretentious, old-fashioned bakery has been around since the 1960s, and bagels share the spotlight with fresh breads, rows of pastries, and piles of cookies. While Karsh’s doesn’t boil its bagels before baking them, it does use kosher ingredients to create firm, golden bagels with more character than the ubiquitous chain varieties. There’s no seating here, so grab a baker’s dozen to go.
