Joe Grotto (yes, his real name) has provided a rare venue for local bands on the Valley’s north side for more than a decade. Local acts like Sluggo, Krak Smokin’ Grannies, -Itis, and Carvin Jones play there regularly, and a pair of weekly open mic nights draws all sorts of new blood. The interior looks the way an old-school rock club should, with one wall covered in mirrors, spots of graffiti here and there, and various fliers clinging to the walls.
