Bass ace brings his talented toenail clippings back to town

Forget for a minute that Marcus Miller – who was one of Miles Davis’ last collaborators – is one of the best bass players in the entire world. The “Superman of Soul” is also totally schooled in clarinet, bass clarinet, saxophone, and keyboard, and he’s produced works by Luther Vandross, Wayne Shorter, and David Sanborn. What does this all mean? Basically, Miller has more musical skills in his toenail clippings than we’ll ever have in our entire souls.
