Blunt Club gives T-Day the bird

By Benjamin Leatherman

Published on November 22, 2007

Thanksgiving has always been about kicking back with your family (however dysfunctional they may be) to break some bread and maybe crack a few skulls, to boot. But if you’re gonna be rocking the holiday solo (or can't stomach another tumultuous T-Day with the nearest and dearest), you can always commune with the jive turkeys of the Blunt Club family, who're throwing an off-the-chain shindig called Bluntsgiving Day on Thursday, November 22, at Hollywood Alley, 2610 West Baseline Road in Mesa. Hip-hop crew Drunken Immortals lays down the lyricals, Pickster One mans the turntables, and graf artist Dumperfoo slings the paint. Some long-lost members of the Blunt Club crew are also coming by for a visit, as Hyder and DJ Diosa will be jetting in from their new SoCal digs for the event.
