Nik Richie's tangled Web

By Benjamin Leatherman

Published on September 27, 2007

The delicious irony of Dirty Scottsdale is that the notorious Web site not only trashes the debaucherous denizens of the city’s nightlife scene but celebrates them at the same time. For instance, enigmatic Webmaster Nik Richie repeatedly rips on vain cases like the P-Nazi -- or “Picture Nazi,” an ultra-narcissistic weightlifter who’s taken countless self-portrait photographs -- while simultaneously making them minor celebrities. It’s why we’ll be first in line at Dirty Scottsdale’s “Pull Wool” Party, where we can finally meet such DS regulars as P-Nazi, Gumbi, G-Girl, and even Richie himself, who's scheduled to be in attendance. A “biggest douchebag” costume contest is planned, as is an Urban Angels fashion show.
